Just the other day I was talking to a coworker about the outrageous fees that Ticketmaster tacks onto your purchases. I don’t remember the exact total, but my friend had just purchased a few tickets and the fees and other charges ended up doubling the cost of the tickets.
My first reaction was “How much can it possibly cost to distribute tickets online?” Clearly, not as much as Ticketmaster charges…
