Great news for the cycling community. Christopher Thompson, a physician, was convicted of assault with a deadly weapon for trying to kill two cyclists by swerving into their path and slamming on the breaks.
After a good friend of mine was run off the road here in Beaufort, and after I’ve been in a few close calls with cars, both on my bike and while walking or running, I have to say, I’m really glad to see the consequences catching up with these folks.
