So, for the first time in my life, I’ve run 14 miles. Maybe a bit more. According to Google Maps, it was 13.75, but that’s not following the roads and sidewalks. Anyway, it’s a long ass way to me. I’m heading to Charlotte in two weeks to run the Thunder Road Half Marathon. This run is mental hurdle for me and I’m happy to know that it looks like, knock wood, I’ll get over the hurdle.

The week before Thanksgiving, I headed to LA to visit my best friend and do some business planning. My best friend is also my business partner and we’ve been impacted significantly by the recession. So the trip was part vacation and part business stuff. I’ve included a few pictures below from the trip that are pretty interesting.
Stay tuned for the announcement of a new venture. We hope to be off the ground in a few weeks. Nothing exciting for the hardcore geeks, but it’s another field I’m passionate about and I’m really looking forward to the launch.

these beautiful photos!
What a lovely Pictures buddy. It was nice to learn that you completed such a long distance on foot.
