Class Chairman and Alumni Class President, Class of 2002
The Citadel Foundation, Charleston, SC. May 2002 to Current

I am the frontline fundraiser for my 350-member graduating class. In this role, I:
• Create specific annual development strategies
• Communicate with potential donors via letters, e-mail, telephone calls
• Design and manage class website
• Recruited volunteers, developed communication plan, coordinated fundraising and executed events for Five-Year Reunion
• Established memorial scholarship
• Exceeded fundraising and participation goals for 2007

Member, The Annual Fund Advisory Committee
The Citadel Foundation, Charleston, SC. September 2006 to Current

This committee is charged with evaluating and modifying The Citadel Foundation’s approach to annual giving, ultimately creating a culture of philanthropy. The Board of Directors endorsed our strategic and tactical initiatives and instructed us to implement our proposals. As a committee member, I:
• Identify improvements to student-staffed call center
• Research student-alumni relations at other institutions
• Recommend modifications to reunion planning and student relations
• Advise Foundation on recruitment, retention and replacement of volunteer chairmen
